I'm starting to get excited that all this planning is finally starting to come together. I may actually start on the build Labor Day.

Cool deal, you'll have the extra day to get more done...

I did some searching, as I know that I've asked questions about injectors before, and found one thread so far that should be of interest to you. I'm starting to think that my original recommendation of marine injectors was wrong, sorry about that I'll be the first to admit that I don't know everything...it's a learning process

Anyway: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ight=injectors

*EDIT* And here's the thread that prompted me to sell my 31's (which are actually 29.9# btw):
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ight=injectors

And here's enough reading to make your head spin:

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...=2917365&pp=25

I'm thinking that if I can get my stockers reworked to about 36# I should be right where I want to be, but I'm just guessing...

You Cannot re-size the GM Mini fuel injectors, per FIC.

The Corvette injector is a completely different model of injector than the truck Mini's.

FIC Suggested I use the 34# LS2 injector Kit that they sell, with my Stock LQ9 with a 224R cam.

How does one check IDC?
I found this thread, but can't seem to find IPW with my auto scanner.

Generic scanners (like the AutoXray and Equus Innova that I have) don't show IDC...I'm not familiar with any updates that will allow it either. Pretty sure that you need something like EFILive or HPTuners to monitor your IDC

BTW, thanks for keeping me in the loop on your build Tricky, I'm gaining a lot of info that will be helpful to me when I get to put my LQ9 together

my buddy has a full bolt on cammed 5.3 with 8.1L injectors with around 96% cycle duty. which is why i didnt bother with those.
you can find 8.1L marine injectors for around 250 if ur lucky enough to find some for sale and ****** them before someone else does.

i made a bunch of notes about different gm injectors somewhere but i can't find them such as length o-ring to o-ring and lbs.
on my set up i went with ls3 injectors that i got from my buddy cheap. i noticed on one webiste they sold mini to ev6 connectors and billet height adpaters. also looked up their injector sets and one set was in fine print ls3 injectors with adaptors to fit truck manifolds with right height. so i ordered their adpator and on another site i ordered pigtail adaptors. didntg wanna cut harness.

so yea i got them in got all new o-rings and i've only had two injecotrs start leaking since then. i just foundthe fattest o-ring i could get where adpter and injector meet. lol had to use alittle vasline but it worked. i have bout 140 in adapters plus what deal i got for injectors that are low milage almost new.

you can prolly find some on ls1tech from f-bodys or vettes but thoses are gonna be taller which u needa make ur own spacers then find an harness adapter

Here's the proof. I'm basically maxing out these 8.1 truck injectors.

I don't have one yet. I'm sure I'll be getting one soon.
