OR lets go just true duals with some magnaflows? (2.5in pipe) gonna dump it right before the gas tanks so that I can still have a legit true dual and all but still be loud. Obviously Im gonna put some turn downs on and angle them out so it doesnt resonate underneath as bad. So tell me what sounds best?
Im open to suggestions but I think I wanna keep it a true dual. Thanks guys

 

I've never heard the purple horny before but I bet Thunder550 has....lol, no seriously, never heard them. I know the Magnaflows sound awesome.

 

Man I think the purple hornies will be too loud for what you are wanting. I would go with a single magnaflow 3in/dual 2.5 outs. It will give that little bit of back pressure our motors need to perform the best and the flow better than a flowmaster would. That is what I will be going to when I redo my exhaust. My buddy Meanz71 has this setup and his truck sounds badass. Ask him if you have any ?s

 

Aren't Purple Hornies glasspacks like Cherry Bombs? That would be pretty loud straight off the headers. I'd recommend the Magnaflow.

 

yeah, Im looking for loud but not how it is now. Straight pipe 2.5 off the headers into 3in and its just ridiculous getting into any kind of RPM. So a 2.5 off the headers into a small Magnaflow then?

 

if your gonna go with a Hornie might as well just get a Bullet for less than that IMO...

 

I say go si/so mangaflow. That is what I have and I love it... I had a flowmaster, didn't like it... I had a di/do magnaflow and it sounded like a 500 guy letting out a muffled fart, absoluetely hated it....

From your other thread about the rattling, are you sure it is not RASP?

 

any magnaflow would work. If you still loud but good sounding, a small one would work.

 

hah, no, I can tell the difference between the rasp (love it) and the "Im tearing ur bed from the frame" rattle thats going on.
I think Im just gonna find a Magnaflow small case and slap it on after some sucker buys my super40 or something and if I really want to Ill take it back to Spanky's and have him do me some flanged and custom dual.

 

Honestly if your looking to go that route, you need to check out the red hots, they have a mellow, throaty sound, a diff throaty sound if ya know what I mean...
