I installed the TBSS intake thinking people had used the stock fuel rails off thier trucks, guess what you can't. So I reinstalled the stock intake and said I would find a solution. My truck has a return style fuel system, the TBSS returnless so swaping the rails wasn't an option. I am not crazy about hacking on the one I have and making the TBSS fuel rail work. Is there an aftermarket solution? Thanks for the help

 

some one here has used a stock return style rail on a tbss intake. let me see if i can find it. i believe it was thunder550. you have to bend it up pretty good and use some straps to mount the rails.

 

See that is what I was thinking but I didn't want to bend the rails up and not be 100% sure

 

I am not against running aftermarket rails but I don't want to drop 300 or so to make them work. What if the I took the stock rails and cut the stock crossover and made a new one with fittings. I am just thinking out loud I guess, I want to find the best solution that won't cost 1 arm and 3/4 leg. I don't mind spending the money if it is needed but there are too many people making lots of power with the stock rails. I will only be 475-500 na and maybe a 100-150 shot.

 

If I recall, if you take a corvette fuel filter and attach it to the end of the returnless rail, isn't there an input and an output on the vette fuel filter? I thought I saw a TBSS intake someone installed here recently and used the vette filter and was able to adapt their returnless system to it. Hopefully this points you in the right direction and someone is able to give you the details.

That is the links to those filters from 3 different stores. I am going to try and redo the intake swap today with the new fuel filter and maybe try and take some pictures showing the swap. If I get done in time maybe some drag strip time with the only swap being the intake. I might wait until next weekend to give the computer time to adjust to the extra flow
