im going to put a cam in my truck if i can sell the whipple. my motor is a completely stock 5.3 except exhaust, cai and e-fans. it is my daily driver so i dont want to get too radical but a nice little lope would be nice. let me hear what you have and the size of your cam. thanks

Here was mine before it was tuned. It still sounds pretty similar to the video IMO.

TSP 224R in a 6.0 224-581-112lsa, it would be more choppy in your 5.3

scott, i like how your truck sounds. what valve springs do you have?

i saw a video of a 5.3 with an ls1 hot cam and really liked the way it sounded, if i get a cam like that can i use the yellow ls6 springs or do i need 918s?

218/228 .525/.525 on a 112 lsa
