just lke the post says im fixen to supercharge my truck and i hear the ls6 cam is the best way to go instead of the comp 21 218 cam well i found som ls6 stuff how can i identify the valvetrain and the cam and not be a ls1 cam and stock ls1 valve train and get jiped please help with info

 

depending on the year the cam will have either 0950 ('01 model) or 5308 ('02-'03 model) stamped on the front and the springs are a blue color.

 

What springs have a yellow/green color? Same color are on the valves. What am I looking at?

You will be happy with this cam. I believe that that the 01s are blue and I know for sure that the 02s are yellow.

 

but will this cam be better than the 212/218 cam for forcedinduction
