Default I think I found our why ......

I think the shop I took my truck to found out why it is throwing a PO300 random misfire code. They put gauges on the fuel lines and they said it is the fuel pressure regulator. It will be done on Monday morning.I hope that is all it is.They said the injector are fine.It was idleing rough but when I was cruisin it was fine,it was only a rough idle.I changed the plugs, wires, fuel filter, dis.cap and dist. rotor and that did not fix it.So I hope it is just a fuel pressure regulator.I do have a question though guys,if the fuel pressure regulator was bad can it make my truck run rich?
Thanks guys

I guess it could run rich depending on how it is stuck....open or closed. They have to take the top portion of the manifold off to get it but its not a big deal. Hope that fixes it for you.
