i made the mistake of buying a 07 classic scsb v6. i was assuming gas mileage would be a + and noone is mississippi had a scsb v8 at the time. it was also much cheaper to go with a v6. now i have no HP, no exhaust note, and terrible gas mileage on top of it. im not sure how much different my 07 classic is from lets say a 99 or 00 model, but i would really love to do a motor swap, from my stock 4.3 to a 5.3, ls1 is still a little steep. there is so much useful info here, but i cant put it all together. i know i will have to replace motor mounts, get new wiring harness, and flash my computer, is that it!? all the swaps i have seen have been on earlier models than mine, i dont want to jump into something head first and hit a brick wall that i cant afford to get over! if i were to find a good 5.3 for lets say $1500, how much could a look to spend before im running the streets again? MUCH APPRECIATED

Umm, I have a DBW throttle body and a returnless fuel system/intake manifold from an 06 5.3 LM7 (non flex fuel) has injectors too. Ive also got a power steering pump and the mount for the pump and alternator. And ive got a set of 8 coil packs too. Send me a Pm if you need anything.
