Default I have a odd question...

when i get on my truck and it shifts in to 2nd it wont go over 4000rpm, but if i let out and get back into it it will act fine. I had a friend say it was the burst knock(caused bu a bad knock sensor) or going into a safe mode. and sometimes when it shifts in to 2nd(not under full throttle only half) the exhaust make a loud screech/ gurgle noise.

it is throwing three codes-random missfire on 8th cylinder, bad knock sensor, and bad 02(left bank).

so my question is if i fix the codes will my truck go back to how it was?

Thanks Robert

reguardless of what you do, its always reccomended to fix codes, specially misfires and knock sensor codes, as for the o2 sensors swap left to right and right to left and see if the right one that was put on the left side shows a bad code.. on the left bank
