Default I am calling you out SierraCrew!!!

I figured I got your attention. As you may know now, I am looking at installing a Z06 cam, but after looking at your mods, you have chose the Comp Cam. How do you like it, and did you have another cam in thier before?? Also, I am going to take my truck to the track just to see if I lost, gained, or whatever after the install of my Flowmaster. I would still like to take a ride in your truck as well. What are you doing this afternoon/everning/tomorrow/Thurs/Frid/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed???

Yeah I know. His truck I beleive is in the 14.20's...Mine in the 15.90's Which comes to...oh ......I believe @ 20 car lengths in the 1/4!!
He has offered to meet up with me, but just trying get our schedules together is the problem. I was also looking at Vinci as they were going to do GP on their cams....but they are still a little rich for me right now. I may have to sale one of my cars so I can play around with this damn truck.

GenIII, Where do you work, what time do you get off and where exactly do you live? I work in Galveston and live in Alvin. I can meet up just about any time after work. I get off at 4:30. Let me know when and where you want to meet and lets do it. I am free tonight probably.

As far as the cam, I love it. I maybe would have liked to go something with a little more lope to it, or even a little more low end, but hey, you can't have it all. Overall, I am very pleased. Plus I got this one on a great deal, that was what sealed my decision for me. With this cam, I didn't really lose any low end, but neither did I pick up any. But I did gain power and it pushed my RPM Range up. I've got my tune set 6500 RPM and it pulls hard all the way up to it. I will suggest a stall if you go this route. The converter I have is just barely large enough for it. I really would do well to have like a vig 2800 for it to work best.

If you want to meet up let me know. PM me before I leave work at 4:30 and I can reply with my cell number. Thats the easiest way to contact me.

Yeah, you did catch my attention..... I was like WTF? Oh, and last time I was in the 14.2's, I should be Extreme high 13's now...

Well, I work for myself, out of my house. My wife took my truck to Wal Mart but should be back within an hour or so. She loves the truck, so her Camry just sits here most of the tim. She wants an Escalade, so I want to buy one for her, so I can rob the 6.0 out of it for my truck, and put the 5.3 in the Escalade, she would never know You have a PM.

Yeah, I actually thought about using the 212/218 cam, but this one presented itself for a helluva price so.......
