I might be heading out to HRP Sunday to get some final times before I sell my TNT kit in the next few weeks. I am just waiting to get my blow off replaced...since it blew up driving out I-10 going to New Orleans last weekend....

Nothing like driving 85 down the interstate with the girlfriend sleeping in the passenger seat and having the bottle blow off right behind her head. Makes for a really bad alarm clock fo both those asleep and awake. <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">

Why you selling your nitrous?

How did the bottle blow up? Did you have the heater turned on or something...Damn , I bet that was incredible to have that go off in a single cab ! Hope you guys are alright..

 

Everything was fine with the bottle going off. Just made our hearts race for a little while. just hearing it without expecting anything is the main part. She dead legged to hell out of me when she jumped. As for how it happened....she had stuffed a lot of pillows and bags behind the seat not thijnking about my switch being on top of the bottle. So by the time we got to beaumont the bottle blow off valve went out. The pillows and stuff helped keep the smoke/condesation down and the noise. But it was still an experience.
I just need to find a replacement plate for it before Sunday.

As for why i am selling it is because I have had fun with it but really want to get the car project going....the more money I drop into the truck the further it sets me back. I will keep toying with the truck I'm sure. But it will be all n/a for a while.
