How much of a difference will there be if I go from HPP3 to LS1 Edit. I have not taken my ruck to the track, but lets assume it runs a 14.5. How much will ls1 edit lower my 1/4 mile et.

 

uuhhhh. lets see here.compare hpp3 is a six cylinder engine and ls1 edit is big block.

 

HUGE gains. The HPP3 usually only adds 7-10rwhp typically. It isn't much more than a glorified transmission shift point changer that can adjust rev limiters.

EDIT costs an assload to get, then you need AutoTap, and a laptop that has a serial port.

There are some great custom tunes available that cost less and are free to retune...
