Did you not hear about the new wireless 3.0 version of HP Tuners?

yay but for 500 bucks you can tune all trucks that year. or all camaros for that year and you get two different years of vehicle as well. meaning.

02 trucks--you can tune as many 02 trucks as you want.
04 trucks--same as above.
that is great. and all on one cable that plugs right in to the obd2 port on the truck.

The only complaint I have with HPTuners is the HPTuner fourm is not organized,
Someone on the forum ask a question and usually gets no answers just more questions.
LS1Tech is the best forum I have ever been a part of. If LS1Tech would have
a HPTuner Q&A area it would very nice. I have got more help here with my HPTuner Questions than any other place.

02, i wasnt aware of that... so you get 2 years, but you can tune unlimited models of that year? So you could tune 4 02's and 5 04's if you wanted?

It's pretty funny that people equate dollars for a custom tune to dollars for HP Tuners. Like they're one and the same thing. Like there's no learning with a program, all you have to do is buy HP Tuners, then you wake up one morning and your car is tuned....

I for one have had HP Tuners for about 6 months, but all I've done is change my shift points and top speed. I've found out that there is a HELLUVA lot to learn before you can tune a vehicle.

Not that it can't be done (it can), but it's going to take an awful lot of time before someone ignorant in the area of tuning will be able to tune a vehicle. So not only is tuning going to cost you money, but time in the learning curve to get up to speed. This needs to be taken into account.

Just my $.02.

naked, ive had ls1 edit since the first month it came out though i know a lil about adjusting the tables on that. But I would rather go a dyno and adjust and see how the a/f reacts.. dont wanna go to lean or add to much timing and blow crap up lol

i just didnt know if hp tuners was the same concept as edit. But I agree, for those that cant tune, then its better just to get the crane that has programmed tunes for different setups
