How to Remove Clutch from Fan...??
#12
Not to be a smartass or anything but are you turning it the right direction? It has normal RH threads. If you turned it 2 turns it should be loose unless someone stripped it on there for you.

GEt this..the Flexalite kit that I bought is to big..says its for the 34" rad..guess mine isnt..its a 99 5.3 RCSB...So i guess I need some LS! fans and a nelson harnass....

man I know how you feel i tried for a day and couldn't do it because i thought maybe you needed a special tool. So the next day i went to the dealer ship and they pull the special tool a long solid 3/4 rode 12inch lone and a hammer. Beat the livin crap out of it and 1 min later he handed me the fan. LOL i felt like a dumbass and they didn't charge me anything so that was worth the trouble of me rollin up there with 3 fans.
