Default how much will 4.10s help....

hey yall.
i was pretty disappointed last week with a 15.4 1/4
but, my truck wasnt running right, and i found out why, my fuel filter was so clogged i couldnt blow through it. plus my shift points were off...but anyways

iv got 3.42s now on a 31 inch tire, truck weight is about 5000lbs.

im about to swap in 4.10 gears, and wondering how much they will help, and if they will be enough to get me in the 14s

It should knock off a .2-.3, maybe more. I'm sure changing the fuel filter will help out a bit too.

yea the fuel filter was holding it back. i felt it on the 1st run something wasnt right, and it kept getting worse. i was also letting out b/c i couldnt make the 2nd to 3rd shift, i just kept pegging the rev limiter, but wheatley is sending me a ecm to fix that problem(aka, adjust for smaller tires)
