How much TM should I take out?

Default How much TM should I take out?

I just got my TCI sf 3000 and transgo shift kit installed,and was wondering how much TM i should take out? Right now I have about 50% removed..Would It hurt anything to remove 100%?.

Im using HP tuners..

Remove it all, with the shift kit you should be good to go.

the engine tqm will see throttle position and rpm limits. as well as close the throttle blade on drive bt wire. the tranny tqm will see abuse and a whole bunch more. with the addition of a shift kit the truck will see abuse when it shifts due to the harder shifts. thus removing it will keep it from falling on its face when it shifts. there is more to it but that is the easy way to explain it. remove it all.
