how much spray do i need to beat a lightning?and LS1 Fbodys?

you can run nitrous on a stock tune. since stock timing is relatively low you should be fine. in fact, my custom tune is running stock timing. which sucks for daily driving.
but to beat a stock L, most of the stock ones run mid 13's in the heat!!!!!!!!!!! i have a vid in the multi section of a run i had against one and it ran a 13.7 on an 80 degree night. only mod was a filter. so, if you spray a 100 shot and assume you lose a second, where does that put you?

i have 2 friends who both ran 13's with their stock lightnings, one a 13.8, and one a 13.7, ive even heard of people getting 13.6 with a stock one.

I would say 125 shot of laughing gas AN ADDICTING liquid also a good tune is going to take care of them FORD L things. That's to be on the safe sideuse no more than 125. I'm SPRAYING 150 shot in my 5.3 STOCK internals and i dont have any problem taking care of them L-s with out letting the full dose out...

No you don't need a tune. Get plugs, wires. You may nned a tuner to adjust your rev limiter and shift points. You should then be in the 13's maybe but I still dont see you beating an Fbody. Mine ran 13'50's bone stock 500 miles on it.

Affirmative!! Stock L"s run consistent mid-high 13's all day!
Seen plenty of them do just that! The 01-04's are the ones with the new tweak in power(380hp) and the 3:73's. The 99-00's run the 3:55's with 360hp! Torque was almost the same!
