Default how much fuel gets sent back to the tank?

ok half the people here probably wont even wanna look at this post because it probably sounds to stupid or dangerious. But I want to shoot flames from the exhaust. So the idea is to tap into the fuel like after the pump and run a 1/8'' line off the it back to the rear of the truck and then threw a N0S fuel silinoid then t off into 2 1/16" lines with will run to a n20 nozzle in the exhaust pipes and then ofcourse a couple spark plugs. So my quesion is when I push the botton for the silinoid to open and spray fuel is my engine goning to run lean? or will the stock pump have enough extra fuel at the engine where a 1/8" line isent going to effect anything?

you will need to get a set of ignition box's to give the plugs spark.

You want to throw flames all the time? If not, then just run a spark plug in the pipe. Put a switch to a coil and your done. Pump the gas and the excess unburnt fuel will be burnt in the tail pipe via the spark plug. This is assuming you don't have cats.

Using the returing fuel sounds like a dangerous propistion, but it will give you flames all the time. You could get the returning fuel based off the duty cycle of the known injector size and the pressure of the known pump's flow rate. Or you could disconnect the line, fill up a measuring cup with it and time it.

No I dont want to throw them all the time only when I hit the switch I wasent actually going to use the returned fuel but I wanted to make sure there was enough returned to no cause a lean condition. JUST a coil and a spark plug wont throw flames because there not NEARLY enough unburt fuel in your exhaust and if there is your running WAY to rich.

As long as you don't hit the flame button at wot you shouldn't have much of a problem. If you did it for short bursts then running lean for 1-2 seconds wouldn't build up enough heat in the cyl to do any damage on the average engine anyhow. The n2o may give you a little more than you bargained for though. It would be interesting to see.

Have you thought about maybe using propane or something?
