is that the radix stock boost level? geeze! no wonder why they are so popular! mine only runs at 5 psi right up untill it shifts. then it barely hits 6psi

good to read you are almost done with your intercooler fabrication. how has it gone? what intercooler did you decide on? have any pics?
I had to put my intercooler plans on hold for a while since I need a new tranny.

man.. the fabrication was a piece of cake! the hardest part is just all the little stuff i have to do. i have to move the radieator out 2 inches so my intercooler will fit. the intercooler is just longenough to fit all the way across the radiator and turn out the sides beside the radiator. since i move the radiator, i had to get some electric fans. i also had to get some 8.1 marine injectors to get rid of my whipple aux. injectors. the actuall reroute piece i made is fineshed, but went ahead and let a fabrication place make one out of aluminum. they said it will only cost about 100 bucks. they arnt finished yet so the finial cost is yet to be disclosed. the intercooler core itself is 36inches by 16 inches and 2 inches thick. its quite massive. but it fits like a dream! if ya have any questions, let me know. also, how do i know what pully to get to achieve my desired boost level?

the high flows really helped alot.....Not sure on hp gain, I have not dynoed it since....
The boost stock is like 7-7.5 psi....I changed the pulley!
I am running the edlebrock headers and they are ok....just rusted too fast.

blown .. what size pulley you running?
bigguy .. are you putting that intercooler behind or in front of the hot radiator which sits behind the warmin A/C coils, which more than likely sits behind the 170-200* tranny cooler? If there is ANY way possible .. put it in the front!
Zip tie your tranny cooler to the AC condensor, and use that cross bracket to mount it up front.

it will sit in front to of the radiator and ac coils. this intercooler is 3 feet wide. as far as the tranny cooler being in the way or warming up the intercooler, i will look into it. i dont forsee it as a prob though cuz ill just move it.
