how to mount ls1 fans

hey guys new to the forun been reading your posts for a while .just bought a set of ls1 fans and was wondering how everyone else has been mounting them? what fan control have you been using?

hey buddy take a look at mine.

i made some little brackets.they are made out of aluminum i bought from lowes.they just go straight down from the top and the one in the middle on the bottom. i am and most others are using the flexalite vsc controller

I used some radiator ties to mount mine. When you trim down the ridges so that they will sit flush on the radiator, dont trim off the top one. I got careless and cut mine off so I had to add a piece of aluminum angle to make it work. I am using a thermo switch to turn mine on/off. hey 02denali thanks for the pictures ,it looks like you mounted it in about 3 places if i am seeing correctly. looks very nice and i like how much room it gave you without the factory shroud. but do you have any problems with overheeting in the summer while towing?

no i wired them up according to the flexalite controller.it keeps it pretty cool.especially when i use the overide on--i have actually had ot cool the truck down quick.
