Thanks guys!
it is certainly looking like I'll need aftermarket springs. Will I also need different injectors do support all this? will 8.1 units work?

you dont have to run bigger but if you want tbss injectors work great just need to get the adaptor harness's nelsons performance has them as well as a retune... wont go wrong

Looks like I'll be dropping some coin on the lt's tomorrow. I have kind of a stupid question... will i lose any low end power with them? i know the gains are huge in the high end, but i was just curious . Also, will i kill anything running untuned? like will the afr be way off and i'll run pig rich and i'll have problems idling? i do plan on getting a tune eventually of course, but will run with this for the meantime.

i dont have any dyno numbers but i didnt feel any lowend loss. and you will be just fine running it untuned, not optimal, and you will have a cel, but it will be fine

Comp told me the 215/223 cam would be ideal as long as I didn't mind spending the money on good springs. I found a deal on a 218/224 .561/.584 on a 110 cam for my truck, but I went ahead and splurged on the PRC dual gold springs. Good to .650 and have heard nothing but good things about them, especially how long they live in a daily driven truck.

I'd really like some more feedback on the 215/223 lsr cam. Has anyone run it? Search doesn't find many results... With the Fairly high lift, shouldn't it make decent torque? or am i way off thinking about swapping it into a exsb 2wd 5.3?
