Default how do you clean the MAF

just as the title shows, how do you clean the MAF without harming the sensors? i know no petroleum based products and i assume its not as simple as running water over it in the sink...

Very carefully remove MAF and spray diods lightly with electric contact cleaner. It's available at any hardware store.
