Default How do you clean the IAC?

Recently my truck has been idleing like crap during colds starts, so I'm sure it has something to do with the IAC. So how do I clean it and what do I need? And yes, I did try a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

either take some carb cleaner while its running and spray up towards the opening for the iac, you will have to rev it up, or you can just unbolt it and spray it down with carb cleaner. be careful with it any scratch you make in the seat will screw up your idle

Clean it like Tyler said. Mine would die in colder weather, but my problem was intake gaskets.
