me and BigKid installed vette servo into my tanny today, first thing, shifts are great and with pred they are even better. love it. however, the tranny won't shift into overdrive. so at 50 mph, it revs at about 2grand. any possible solutions here. we didnt' do the fans or stat yet. but could a small piece of fod (trash) cause this. everything was wiped clean before it went in. it was put in and taken out several times tho.... any takers on this question. oh yea, tranny had no problem hittin od before.

did you make sure all the rings where on it and alined correctly?installed mine without a problem. shifts into od since i istalled it. but watch out for the plastic accumulator. my servo put so much pressure on it, it crack it. had to tear the accumulator back out and install an billit alluminum one.

well, the first few times we tried to put it in, the thing just wouldn't align right! so we kept havin to take it out and put it back in. that could be somethin we didn't think about. so you think it could have damaged the accumulator when we put it in? thanks for the info...

i'm not saying it did, but my truck would bogg shifting into 2nd gear for about 3-4 seconds then open back up. took us awhile to figure that one out. you might just want to check the rings just incase make sure they are not damaged. Did you have the tranny out or in when you put it in?

we had the tranny in when we did the install. i'll say this, with just predator, the truck shifted good. with the servo and pred, the truck shifted like a mad man. i mean, sh*t hot, on the money speed shifting. however, after driving around a few min's we learned OD wasnt' kicking in. we got on the interstate and kicked it up to 100 plus and no od. so at that point we are like, ok, pred adjustments didnt' do it, what else could have. hence me on here asking. could something with the servo instal have gone wrong and us not know it. i dont think the rubber rings were messed up (if that is the rings your are talking about). i hope someone else here has some sort of similar problems. all shifts are great, except for the 3-4 cause it dont' make em. lol. thanks for the help 01_thunder.
keep the info coming.

i am thinking since you mentioned the accumulater then it is worth a shot at trying first. right now we dont' know why it won't shift into od. we went gear to gear, and no od. it has us boggled, well, at least it does me. kenny might say otherwise. lol
