Default how can i manually open injectors for cleaning?

I am in the process of doing my lq9 swap and i'm getting ready to put the injectors back in but want to clean them out first. I saw somewhere where this guy had made a little tool to hook one end up to his battery and the other end was wired into an extra injector plug with a push button for manually opening and closing the injector so you can open/close it rapidly while spraying cleaner through it.

Anyone have and experience with this? he said it works for most injectors but i should check to see if i need to use a resistor or anything to control the current to prevent burning the injector out by overpowering it. Should i be fine with just connecting straight to the battery as long as i dont hold power to the injector for more than a second or so each time? just want a way to get it to open so the cleaner can flow through just like the gas does.

You can use a 9 volt battery and it works great.

so, you just connect the injector for a second, while spraying cleaner? Do you do this a few times?

I used some carb cleaner and then some compressed air.

I ended up using a 9v battery and a momentary push button switch to clean them, worked great!
