As most of you know now, I'm going to get some LT's with high flow cats and an ORY, but how much louder will it make my truck? At idle, I can barely even hear it. I want it to be louder because when I get a cam, I want to make sure that the exhaust is loud enough so you can hear the cam. Would a cam make my truck louder on it's own?

 

one you cant have high flowcats and a ORY. now after you realize that you can then think of a exhaust setup that will make you happy

 

Don't run any pipe after the muffler, no turn down or anything. You'll have some drone, but it will be louder.

 

If you want loud, go with duals.

 

Maybe it's time for some E-cutouts??? How do I install those?

no actually it will teach you alot, use it and read and read and read for hours then youll see what you have just asked and now be ahead of yourself and then you can go on about what you want for an exhaust not just loud. if you want loud go straight pipes not cats

You could run open headers.
