How can i know if is a real vortec max????
 

Ok guys im new to this game of the trucks and im buying a truck is a 2007 nnbs, i want to know how can i know if its a real vortecmax since the sticker they have on the airbox is gone....:confused:

vin # or head casting i believe

the exhaust pipe shoots straight back not to the side like usually seen

ok will check that on the vin number what digit should i see?

The head casting numbers should be 823s..

Tail pipe is the easiest, straight out the back!!!

Get the last 8 #s of the vin and call a dealership. The tailpipe comes straight out the back.
