Gonzo is right it's a 2002 crate LS6 with a cam, pulley, and headers...and new GMMG chambered dual exhaust for the truck platform.Truck also has a T56 out of a F car and stock 3:73 rear.
If and when it goes into production they'll be available in 400, 475, or 600HP versions all N/A.
Not sure what the price tag will be, but there is talk about doing 50 to 100 of them.I can get simialar results with 5.3 and 6.0 liter engines.

Can you tell us anything more about that exhaust? Is it planned to be a GM P/N?Or is it a dealer built item?I gather you are talking about the dealer building these truck?
You noticed the 1/4 mile times,The MPH is right on track, the ET is off by 1 second or more do to shitty launches and or lack of sticky tires.ISPEED,what's say you?

I believe GMMG will build and sell the truck exhaust in similar fashion to our F car exhaust.
Got a couple tweaks i still want to make to it, and of course the hot rod trucks will have to get theirs before we release it to everyone else.
Not sure on price yet, of the truck or the exhaust.
I Wish i had some sticky tires and a few more passes in the truck, I definitely think low 13's and with a gear swap, high 12's.
After work on Facrs for the last 3 years , doing a truck was kinda fun, but alot more challenging to get going fast.

Is this being built and sold by a dealership that you work at? And who is the bright guy who convinced them to do this? That is awesome that some of these dealerships are now getting it, and giving that selective market what they want!

A friend of mine here in WA has a truck he bought in AZ called the THUNDER. Ran a 14.80 at the track. Supercharged with JBA headers and a hppp3. The charger had some sort of governor on it.

Dumb question but what's GMMG? Did I read right by reading that it was going to be offered through GM dealerships? Is it a true dual setup or a cat back system?
