I installed a Hooker Areochamber 3.5in/3.5out hoping to decrease the resonance inside the cab and its no better than my flowmaster super44. I already ordered a Magnaflow so I'll give that a try next. Word to the wise dont buy an areochamber unless you like your brain rattling inside your skull at 1700rpm

 

I've got one on my truck but i have duals running out the back. I get lots of compliments on the sound.

 

dont get me wrong it sounds great I'm just looking for something that doesnt resonate so bad.

 

Mine doesn't. Not even when i had it dumped. It's pretty far back though. The back of the muffler is just infront of my rear tire.

 

thats where mine is and the drone sucks

 

hmmmm. Mine's a 6.2 6spd so maybe the extra gears help???

 

well i'm sure the Lts, hollow cats and the TVS dont help my cause

I think you'll like the sound better but will still have drone..

I have a 30" magnaflow on the tahoe and in the rear seat its hard to carry on a conversation at 70+ mph..Stock truck except the muffler..

 

well if the magnaflow still drones I still have all the mufflers so I'll just reinstall the one I liked the best and dynamat the entire interior.
