Hooker AeroChamber Mufflers
#1
anyone have any idea what these mufflers will sound like dumped right before the rear axle ??
this will be a true dual setup with the muffler cut off right at the connection with the exhaust and the AeroChambers welded on with about 20" of pipe and 45 deg bends after them
I had these mufflers on a '74 stepside street truck with a full exhaust after the mufflers and it had decent rumble but didn't resonate at mid rpm's....does anyone have any idea if the cats and manifolds will affect the tendency to resonate or affect the tone compared to no cats and full length headers

My friends has that same truck with that same setup, except for the turndowns, and at cruising speeds it compares to my 40 series flowmaster. It has a deeper rumble, but it is really raspy (SP?) at WOT.
