has anyone made an intercooler for there truck? Im thinking about tackling the idea but dont know how where to hook up? before or after the supercharger? It makes more since to me to hook up after the supercharger but i dont see how it is possible cause there is limited space! do you guys have any suggestions?

as far as i know no one has worked out an intercooler for the whipple. i would just toss a 75shot on there and hang on!!!:-)

just a ?, if i reroute right after the whipple and go to a 1.5 in. diameter hose, would this hinder my performance, or would the supercharger push the same amount of air through?

Yes,run coils of copper tubing inside the air intake tube and run a bottle of CO2 through it at -78F.

Of course id love to have nos in there but i want something that works all the time cause i tow alot. guess im going to experiment.

oh... is it better to have the intercooler before or after the supercharger?

Who knows Parish8,he may be a master plumber who's brother owns a weilding supply.It sounded cool anyway.Why would you want an intercooler before the supercharger?It sure would'nt help very much.

after, always after. good luck with that intercooler, it is a tight fit between the blower and intake.

also, is if i run a air to water intercooler, does it need to have a resevoir and a pump, or does the water just stay in the intercooler all the time?

What Kind of Intake temps where you seeing, with and without the spray. Just curious, I am planning a 6.0 but I live in FL where it is hotter than hell during the summer and need some cooling help for that air somehow. Would it detonate during off track driving at full throttle, assuming you were not using the spray on the street. But I guess I shouldnt put it past you.
