I run the Hi-Ram because 454 cubes.

Interesting comparison though!

hey Corey once i get my super vic LS3 ( waiting on it ) with the 4500 flange my high ram will be for sale ;) if interested, (i'll give ya first dibs if interested ) it'll be a month or so :( wanting to get back on the track in hopes of reproducing that 1.41 60 ft with the high ram on motor! this time with a transbrake. then a few passes with a small hit of nitrous ! probably be after the LS1 truck shootout

I am in no rush. Hit me up once you get it off. Wait you run rectangular ports right? I am still using regular cathedral port heads.

I will say in quickly looking at the pics I am a little surprised. Whats different about the mid rise? To me it just looks like shorter runners. so I would have expected an opposite end result.

The mid rise is a dual plane intake vs the single plane hi rise.

Has anyone seen the mid rise intake without the top plate on? Its pretty cool looking

Since it will make almost no effect while in boost why not choose the intake that will perform better while not in boost... My guess would be the mid rise with its stellar (in comparison) low end performance.

Nice info.
