Default high flow cats

im getting a true dual setup on my 01 silverado and im still tryin to find out which high flow cats i should get, any suggestions fellas? thx

magnaflow is a good one, and you can get them cheap on ebay. which exhaust shop are you going to use?

Your stock cats flow pretty good. Another good cat is Random Tech but they are pricey too.

Probably HPE, ima get em to do my exhaust for me, but I gotta see what my dads friend can offer me cuz he owns a muffler shop so ima see

I am 100% convinced that my Magnaflow (Carsound) cats flow better than stock. I ran catless for awhile after the header install, but couldn't stand the tin-can sound of the exhaust. I threw the magnaflow cats on and it minimized but didn't completely eliminate the sound. So in my meager mind I equate the existence of this sound to better flow.

MagnaFlow cats do flow better than stock, and they do work well. I have seen them on the flow bench at MagnaFlow....Hopefully Richard will chime in with the exact numbers.

I have them on my truck and love them! Here is a pic, I had mine ceramic coated:

What's the flow numbers on them...been looking for the flow numbers on the 3" versions and 2.5" versions.

Not yet....I still have to get it on the dyno....Time is not somthing I have right now with SEMA coming up.
