Default Hiding the Bottle

I'm thinking about going the N2O route soon, and I want it to be totally hidden. I would rather have a turbo or SC, but as a starving student, its just not in the cards.

I'm aware of the Compucar kit, but sticking the bottle in a bag isn't good enough. Anyone who's nosey, or has a trained eye could spot that. I was thinking I could squeeze a 10lb bottle under the backseat near the very back of the cab. Kind of where the jack mounts, but behind the driver. I would then just put a black plate over that whole area. With the seat down, it would be hard to find. A 10lb bottle is about 7" dia. and 20" long.

I thought about under the truck, but I dunno. Any ideas? Also how would you hide the solenoids (wet kit)? I saw awhile back that some one used factory 4wd switches for their set-up, does anyone know who that is? Thanks.

I have mine under my backseat, behind me. Just the valve sticks out, so i can reach back and turn it on if i think i need it. As far as under the hood, why hide it? I never open the hood if someone wants to run me. Here is a pic of the fuel and nitrous switches and one of the solenids. Click on the pics to enlarge them.

Thanks for the input guys, now I'm reconsidering hiding it. Nobody looks under my hood anyway, and if they want to, I'll charge them.

Hey BLK6.0HD, do you have any pics of your bottle behind your seat? That's cool that you can just turn it on, that way you don't have to screw with a bottle opener....nice.

No I dont have any pics of the bottle, i can take some but not till this upcoming weekend. Even with the valve sticking out someone can still sit behind me, and its no problem for someone in the pass seat to turn it on for me.

That's cool, I think I know how you have it mounted now. Front to back, right.....I think that's the best way to do it! Thanks!
