Lack of interest? They tried it with the GTO and it didn't sell anywhere near expectations. I think that pretty much killed any chance for future Holden projects in the US IMHO...

I thought the GTO caught on quit well. I dunno .. now that I think about it .. you might be right. It could be one of those things though where the dealerships are jacking the prices up to a premium though.

I know what the 2 little filters were for. Ya'll didn't notice the little smiley there???

I'd like to see how the 05 GTO sells with the LS2 and hood scoops. I was reading an article about how Bob Lutz (spelling?) created so much hype on this car and no one bought them. My local dealership had like one or two pre-sold. Now they have 5 or 6 new and 2 used and can't get rid of them. They've had them for a couple months now too.

Problem with the GTO's, they are made in Australia.

FYI for you guys that don't already know this. Holden is GM's Austrailia division and such. The GTO is a copy of the Holden Monaro (I Think that's the right model). The UTE has been in production for 4 years I think also. 5.7 v8 in a mini truck. Good one GM, it would NEVER sell here!!!!
