Well, I am starting the feud back up again. I have the Magnaflow X-flo true dual setup on my truck (4.8). It is DAMN loud when I step on it or tow anything. Since my new baby is almost here and will sit in the back of the cab, it will be way to loud for his little ears. I have been told that the Flo pro has very little resonance in the cab and flows pretty good. I am also looking at getting a little back pressure back for towing because the Magnaflow seems to have lost some due to the way open design. Is the Flo pro MX series a good muffler to get what I am wanting or should I go with the HD big oval muffler? Has anyone tried the HD muffler on their 4.8 or 5.3? I am wondering if it will be too much back pressure or too much muffler for my truck? Like I said, I want it to flow (at least better than stock) but I need as little resonance as possible. Any suggestions?

Dude i said it before and ill say it again if its within your budget get the Gibson super flow mufflers they're quiet and outperform most mufflers. Only 5% restriction but reeeeeeeeeaaaaaallllllll quiet with an awesome tone. Most wont agree on this site. I found that not very many people like the gibson team but i have it and i love it so. Thats all i got for ya.

I have the Flo~pro HD part# 2503, I think. The resonance is more than stock, but not too much more. Can't really compare it to a Magnaflow. I think it would be fine for a small child. My 6yr old doesn't mind it. May know where you can get a only slightly used one for around $100. I think it only had 2-4k miles on it. Let me know.

Yes, that is the one. The part # is 2504. Let me get in touch with the guy first, then I can put you in touch with him.
