Default Help on What Exhaust System to go With`

I have a 1988 C1500 that me and my dad have been restoring since we bought it. We have the entire outside done except for exhaust. I'm wondering what system would be the best for the truck. The truck has a 350 in it and it's all stock mechanically. I want it to sound pretty loud, but with a really deep pitch to it. I definitely wanna run duels off the back of it, but I'm not sure what to go with as far as mufflers and pipe size are concerned. The idea I have in mind is super 40 or 44 flowmasters with a 2.5 in pipe and 3-4 in chrome tips. I just wanna know if that's a good plan or if I can do any better than that. I'm trying to keep the price under $800 with parts and labor included. Thanks.

What exhaust do you have currently? Just manifolds or do you have a y pipe already? I like magnaflow mufflers and you can run a smaller 2x 2.25" in and single 3" out and it sound pretty good.

Magnaflow is real deep without drone. Loved it on my Lightning. Yep, I know, two different engines...
