Default Help, Nitrous Problem!

HI I AM NEW tO THE board and someone linked me to this place so i registerd to see if you guys can help me because i havE an Escalade and my friend said that he could help me hook up his nos kit thats a wet kit from nitrous express so i said ok and he told me that i could make it a direct port kit because it has a shark nozzle. So then we tapped the middle intake runner on the passenger side, as far down as we could.. near the head .. so its a direct shot like a direct port kit he said that he saw this when he was changing oil at Midas and the guy said I could do it with the shark nozzle. So We jeTTED THE nozzle to a 150 shot because he said I have a high performance pistons that can hold alot of power cause they are from an escalade motor, so once we got everything hooked up to the direct port we took it for a drive and i hit the NOS on the free way and the motor just jumped vERY HARD 2 or 3 times and i heard a clank and grinding sounds!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE help me!!!!!

I had to get a tow truck to pick me and my freind up and my SUV wont even turn on!!!! My parents are not happY1!!

Im sorry to say this man but I would almost garuntee you that your motor is gone. The guy who di this to your truck out to be raped. A direct port system which isnt one nozzles tapped into the intake like right in the middle it is many nozzles strategicly placed so each runner gets the same amount of n20 and fuel. The problem with what you have is depending on where the nozzle is placed and the spray pattern of the nozzle your only spraying fuel and n20 into a few runners. You were most likely getting some nasty puddling. the first couple of runners werent getting anything. The reason your supposed to place the n20 nozzle before the TB is when the TB opens the mixture is evenly spread throughout the intake. One nozzle is not a direct port! That was a huge F-UP!
