i don't need to be walking up the dead as this is my DD. I will be putting OBX LT's on soon but not to soon. Also I will be sound proofing the truck in a few weeks as well. I am not looking to spend a butt load of money as well!
SO please please help me out. Thanks[/QUOTE]

CONSIDER THESE:
1) WITH LT'S, IT WILL GET LOUDER;
2) IF YOU ARE SOUNDPROOFING, I AM ASSUMING IT WILL BE FOR THE INTERIOR TO BE QUIETER AND PERHAPS FOR STEREO REASONS AS WELL;
3) DONT WANT TO SPEND A BUTT LOAD OF MONEY...IF PIPES ARE STILL GOOD AND ONLY THE MUFFLER THE BAD, THEN REPLACE THE MUFFLER WITH A DUAL IN/OUT AS YOU HAVE HAD. CONSIDER THE CASE LENGTH OF YOUR OLD ONE AND GET ONE AT LEAST AS LONG OR LONGER. THE LONGER THE CASE, THE QUIETER... REMEMBER 1) WITH LT'S IT WILL GET LOUDER SO GOT TO ADJUST THERE TO MAKE UP...
4) MAGNAFLOW AND SPINTECH BOTH HAVE GOOD DUAL IN/OUTS WHICH I WOULD PREFER OVER A FLOWNASTER. I GOT A SPINTECH MYSELF.

GOOD LUCK, ROB (956) 802-7700.

Ive been thru alot of mufflers and still havent quite the right ones yet,but i gotta tell ya so far my dynomaxs were the best ,magnaflows were the loudest and most obnoxious,quiet at idle ,but when you get into them there awfull in my opinion they sound like old shcool straight pipes with cherry bombs ,raspy as hell.I hated the sound so much thaat i added cats to quiet it ,didnt help then i added dynomax bullets 18 inchers at the end b4 they come out the rear.That helped but to me it was a waist of money to have to go through that just for the sound i wanted.Remember like mentioned it will get alot louder when u get l/ts ,maybe you should install them first or u might have to do do it all over again,cus the sound will be different.like i said the dynomax straight thru that has the case llike a flowmaster heavy metal welded case was my choice out of all the diff ones ive tried.Good luck.
