When the boost kicks in....the line to the BOV goes from vac to boost pressure as well which further pushs down on the valve diaphram.

Hook up a manual vac/pressure guage and verify that the boost guage is working correctly

make check your IC couplings like 20 times make sure u didnt blow off any connectors mine used to love to blow the bends off IC off. also ur gonna ned to check the FP..when i first installed my kit i wired up my Fuel pump wrong at WOT it felt nodiffrent than stock because of how lean it was getting the the pressure would drop dramaticly at wot.

seeing no boost is definately a sign that something isnt hooked up right. Dont get too pissed about it, you'll figure it out.
As others have mentioned its either a problem with the piping or the bypass.
Are you running the valve as a bypass (recirculates air to intake) or blow off (lets air out directly under hood) ? On my bypass there is an adjustment screw that has to be at a certain point or the valve can stay open. also for arguements sake go over all of you piping again and retighten all of the fittings. Youll figure it out and that kit has the potential to make ALOT of power. Welcome to FI.

The blow off (lets air out directly under hood)

When I unhooked the vacuum line from the bov it stayed closed. But I revved it up a little and the boost gauge didn’t move
