Default Help me choose a muffler!

ok so i ran no muffler for 3 days now on my 07 4.8l crew cab. its to gurgly sounding. not to loud by any means just a crappy old farm truck sound haha. also when i floor it i think my 0-20mph time is around 5 seconds haha. and im serious

Im looking for something that is pretty loud but when i floor it will have a more high pitched tone.

and if yall know of a muffler that makes better numbers than another thatd also be nice along with a good site to purchase the muffler from!

any input is greatly appreciated.

What can i say, i love the sound and the looks. Besides, i'm thinking about getting a Vette as my "car" anyway. Although the thought of what my insurance is gonna be scares me lol.

I'd say get a 12'' Dynomax Bullet and be done with it...simple. I have true duals and I'm running 2 Bullets and it's by far the best exhaust muffler I've had....and I've been through tons of them literally. Before I put them on I wasn't running any and I loved the sound of not having them...I put these bullets on and I love them just as much

This Borla muffler sounds good and didn't hurt my bottom end a bit. If i punch it from a dig or from up to 15 mph my backend comes loose. It's not nearly as loud as the straight pipes but it has a great tone to it. (the muffler sounds deeper in person now that I have a few miles on it)

Nope it's the ProXS single in dual out. It's the same design as the XR-1 race muffler but it has stainless steel packing in the sides to calm it down some. It's a straight through design.
