This is kit 15573, it has the big 22" muffler plus a 16" resonator. With headers, I think i'd be very happy with this.

Well I had that 22" muffler on stock manifolds on my 5.3 and it was quieter than the stock muffler was, but had a nice tone to it. I'm totally game for replacing my stock muffler with this again - but then adding headers. I was to impatient with the 5.3 and needed volume then, so I got rid of it. Hindsight, I should have kept it. If I find a used 22" muffler i'll probably put it on now. Then put headers on.

The kit is nice. but I want to hear the 6.2 with JUST the magnaflow 22".

I LOVED my H/C 5.3L with LT's and 3in ORY with the 22in magnaflow. It was the offset one so it was a bit quieter than the straight through. It was quiet and had no drone at cruise/driving and when i would pull into get gas you could still the the cam because i got asked a number of times lol Had a great sound once you hit the skinny pedal also... If i ever put LT's on this truck i'll get another 22in magnaflow for sure!!!

I think I am leaning to the dynatech split flow with no cutout. Just 1 3/4" aem headers, 3" ory, 3.5" straight back to a 14" dynatech and 3.5" turn out before the rear tire , under the bed. I will sell my 24" case magnaflow 5x8 oval muffler and 3" race ready performance cutout setup when I do.
