Yeah, thats my next mod...laptop,wideband,autotap,ls1edit,those injectors, then more boost.
So I take it you didn't decide to sell the truck. You ever put the 11 lb pulley on?

Still have the pulley in the bag it came in ..
Started to snow here in toronto go too cold to do more on the truck
Get the injectors from RC or splice in some F-body injectors and shim the rail up a little
There's a few guys that have done this to there fuel setups with sucess
Just becarefull with the truck limit those WOT blast ..We don't need another #7 piston incident
Have you dynoed your truck ?
Did you rework the intake on your truck ?
How many PSI are you seeing ?

Jim, do you still have your Blown 5.3?????? Thats a bad *** truck. as for the 99 4.8. take all the after market stuff off, return it to stock. take it to the dealer for an oil change. leave the dealer, unblot the drain plug, and drivr=e it down the road till she pops. Blame it on the dealer, and you got a new motor. Just an idea. ( This information is for fictional /hypothetical use only. Pour some coolant down your intake and fire it up. This will/should throw a rod and kind of make it look like a severly blown head gasket. This was what kind of happened to my original motor except I was four wheelin' and put the truck in a swamp. The truck died and when I went to fire it back up my #7 rod went through the side of my block!

Haven't dyno'd, still stock intake, seeing 8psi at 5800rpm. I live at 4400 feet elevation, so i'm seeing probably 2lbs less boost than I would at sea level. Also my dyno #'s would be 20% lower than guys at sea level. My G-tech says I'm putting 320 to the ground (probably not that accurate)

Don't think Jim blew up his old motor. Here is a post about his new setup.
