We are in the middle of some dyno testing an 2002 8.1 with LS1 edit. We keep having power (throttle back) cut off at 4900 rpm. This is happening even with the DLP drive line protection programming turned of in the computer. Anybody else run into this problem and if so were you able to get arround it?

Does the '02 8.1L have electronic throttle control (ETC)? Have you disabled or maxed out all of the ETC tables (including ETC rev limiter)?

 

that's what i was thinking. engine>idle&limiters>etc. mine is set at 5400 though. which does'nt matter to me much since i don't have etc. also check speed limiters in the speedometer table. e
