Oh overhere in houston for emissons testing all they do on OBD2 vehicles is check the computer for any codes or check engine light if you have a code or light on you will fail.........about the cats being on thats a diffrent story! (depends)

Nice, I wish it was that easy here in MA.
They do the same here plus check for broken lights or bulbs that are out, the shitty part is the sniffer. Its a probe they stick in your tail pipe that reads the amount of emissions that passes through your exhaust. If there are no cats it automatically throws a code in the computer, which in turn fails your test. They do a bunch of other **** that is pretty much pointless. It really depends on who you get to do your test, some guys are cool others are jerkoffs and pretty much turn you away when they hear or see something they dont like, ie; a loud exhaust, cold air intakes.
I'm not sure how it is in Ontario though for bgray, I would assume its similar as ours if he needs his cats.

yah its exactly the smae, Knock gas, Carbon, and somethign else...definetly need the cats or it will blow way over.
