wow, hate **** like this and I sincerely hope those are not the new repalcement springs Derek!!! CashDude, i hope compensates you. Make sure you take a lot of pictures AS you dig into it and show the springs as the cause of damages.
Good luck and post up how Comp treats you.

That is in fact the new "re-designed" springs.

I think the guy had a 212/218 525 lift with 1.8s rockers.
He claimed the car rarely seen 6300 RPM's

Damn I guess that if I do have the recalled batch I might just sell the ones that comp sends me and go with a different company, pos Patriot Golds... That sucks for the guys who had a spring fail, makes me kinda sceered to beat on the truck at all till I get a response from them...

Well guys, Patriot golds according to Richard @ WCCH is a great spring.

To be honest with you id be scared to run the 918's as well, revised or not.
Look how many sets failed! Its incredible!!
I dont know if i would want to be the guinea pig here. Yes they are revised and should work from an engineering standpoint but........ Look what happened to all the other ones.

Like i said in my previous post... My new heads came with the Patriot golds and im not going to think twice about not running those. Has anyone heard of a PG spring failing?
