Question Help with I-6 please

Hi All

Changed out a friends battery in her '03 envoy, will not start now, radio will not work doors do not open...ect But the horn and all the dash lights come on. I think this has to do with the anti theft system???

I did a search and came up with the Neslon tune start up procedure......

http://www.nelsonperformance.com/faqs/passkey.htm

When I turn the key to the on position, all lights on the dash go out except the "engine needs service"

Any help out there???
Thanks
Roger

i threw a redtop in my 05 silvey the other day . i just used my buddys jump box with this cable that plugs into the cig lighter . everything was fine . but my temp guage wouldnt work and the fans wouldnt kick on for some reason . so i threw the a/c on just to make sure the fans would keep the motor cold . went and moved the ground wire , tightened it up and its been fine since .
