Default Help with Exhaust

I just got a spintech sportsman XL so it is the quietest one. I kind of regret getting it becuase it is so quiet but still has a nice tone.

I just cut out my stock muffler and put it in with clamps. I will weld it on with new pipe that fits better later.

It is really quiet but still sounds good except it has a drone at about 1800-2300rpms. The muffler is the stock location. After it gets above 2500 it goes away and at WOT at higher rpms it sounds like it did stock mabey a little diffrent.

Now can anyone help me fiqure out why it drones at 2000. I figured since it is in the stock location it should drone at a way higher rpm since the stock muffler was there and didnt drone at that rpms.
Now its not the best setup since I just bolted it in there with a 3inch to 2.75 reducer with clamps so It is not completely sealed.

Is there something diffrent about spintechs? Could I mount it somewhere diffrent to increase the drone or resonance so that it will come in at a higher rpm and mabey sound a little meaner and louder at higher rpms?

I kind of want the louder version but if I send it back and forth it will be about 50 dollars in shipping so I dont think ill do that.
