I fixed it this morning... for future reference guys the ground wire coming out of the main harness that is bolted to the back of the head WILL CAUSE THE ABOVE MENTIONED PROBLEMS if not hooked back up.

I have the same code. p1516. I just changed the converter out too. normal drivng no problem. only when I get on it and I start boosting does it trip the code...... possibly at the shift into second.
