Default Help Build me the best DD ECSB AWD TURBO 2006 Silverado

Hey all, I'll be getting back my license soon after 10 years (medical reasons)
I need opinions on building a 2006 Silverado ECSB (kinda want a sleeper)
Criteria : 93 octane + Meth (no E85 here)
NVG149 AWD transfercase
4L80 Transmission(I know I'll need an adapter to join the TC to 4L80)
3400 ish stall converter
Gen 4 6.0 or IRON 402/408 ? (4" stroke seems like best for torque/HP vs. longevity ?)
317 Heads w/good springs (would the LS3 square ports be a better choice ? I heard the 317's have a thicker deck and are more durable)
KB Turbo kit w/ T4 S475 turbo ? 15ish Lbs (want quick spool over high RPM HP)
Triple 12 cam ? (want lots of vacuum, decent idle, low end torque)

Want a 'reliable', drivable pump gas setup. Any input for ideal engine size, cam, turbo, etc. would be appreciated !!

A iron 6.0 or even a 370 would work great, a 402/408's kinda overkill and that on 15 psi with a decent turbo would just be useless power on the streets. Though who are we kidding, a 6.0 or a 370 on a decent setup will be useless power on the streets too if you want it to be.

With boost the 317's would do great, you can make 1000hp through them if you wanted too. Triple 12 cam is a great option, very tune-able and great with boost.

When it comes to LS motors and boost, less is more. You can spend a crap ton of money for power and engines but if you are all want it something that is fun to get ice cream with then why make your wallet bleed. If you can't make a 6.0 with nice rods/pistons, a s475 etc etc get to 600+ hp something is wrong.

Thanks ! With AWD, wouldn't the extra power of the 408 over the 6.0 be usable ? finding a nice Gen 4 6L would be much cheaper.....it would seem to me to leave it stock pistons/rods, if replacing them, why not go with the 4" stroke ?

I'm thinking that a 5500 lb truck with AWD could make use of the extra power from a 408 vs a 366/370 as a DD ?

Maybe 25-30K, mostly in-town (high side guess, probably more like 20k)

I've always been a car guy, had 9 and 10 sec mustang 5.0s and GNs etc. back in the day. I'd like a fast AWD sleeper.
I can see by the Denali in your sig that you have experience with what I'd like to do !
