Help With ASM Headers
#1
Hey I was just wondering if the collector gaskets are the same as the stock ones. Also what are some good brand O2 sensors since I will be under there, I may as well replace the front ones. Also how much did everyone pay for the exhaust shop to modify the Ypipe so I don't get ripped off. And what do I torque the header bolts too and do I need antiseize on them? Thanks.

No,but they are common 2 1/2" three bolt style flanges I bought Mr Gasket copper gaskets for mine to make sure they never leak.I'm running 2 1/2 mandril bent pipes into a 2 1/2" to 3" Flowmaster wye.

Yes you need to antiseeze the bolts, you could buy the stage 8 bolt kit they have a locking retainer.# 8900 www.stage8.com

It was $150 for my muffler shop to spend 2+ hours rotating and adjusting my cats, shortening pipes etc. to get the headers to fit. I have an 03 so the cats are shorter and different than previous years. I left the y pipe the same since it was so much work just to get everything else setup.
Now I have the stock y pipe that leads straight to my 3" corsa. The power increase is awesome! Wait to you feel AND hear your truck!
